Irene M. Porto, President and Founder
Irene Porto has 15 years of Human Resources management experience. Prior to founding her own career coaching practice, Career Integrity Coaching Inc., Ms. Porto was the Manager of Recruitment at Anchin, Block and Anchin LLP, a top 25 public accounting firm in NYC, where she was responsible for internal, client and campus recruitment. Responsible for developing and leading all recruitment strategies with a focus on proactively sourcing, identifying and recruiting candidates in the external marketplace. Developed recruitment and placement policies, including strategies techniques. Directed and implemented all recruiting strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Irene worked for The Bank of New York for seven years as a Recruitment/Employee Relations Manager Bank Officer supporting the following sectors: Information Technology, Bank Operations, Cash Management, Corporate Security, Information Security, General Services and Client Technology Delivery Services.
Irene has extensive contingency search firm experience concentrating on recruitment,
Business development and account management. Provides results-oriented staffing
solutions to clients in the financial services, public accounting, information technology,
legal, sales, human resources, health care, public relations, and marketing areas. Client
Searches range from CFO opportunities to lower management and support positions.
Irene is currently a Recruitment Executive at Matrix Executive Search LLC,. Irene has
recently partnered with Career Strategies International, Inc. on career counseling
projects.
After graduating college, she joined Smith Barney in their sales area for three years. During her 4 years during at college, she joined the job coaching team of Career Transition Resources in Brooklyn Heights, New York.
Irene M. Porto holds a MBA in Business Management from Wagner College and a B.S. in Business, Management and Finance degree from Brooklyn College. She obtained her Human Resources Certification from Baruch College and is certified by NYU in Professional Coaching.
I am an active member of the Big Brother-Big Sister Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, NYC Blood Center, Center for Family Life Employment Services, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, SHRM, National Association of Professional Women and the National Resume Writer’s Association.
